Massage Tips from Denis Merkas
Don't squirt oil over your partner directly from the bottle! It may look sexy in the movies, but in reality it feels like rubbish! Warm the oil up in your hands first before applying it to the body.
Do consciously slow down when giving a massage - there are no points for finishing first!
Don't give your partner a quick massage and then demand "your turn"! Give your partner a massage when you are happy to do something nice for them without expecting anything in return.
Do give feedback if you are receiving the massage! Your sweetheart loves to do nice things for you, so positive reinforcement will build their confidence and ensures that you will get more massages the next night, and the night after that...
Don't overuse your thumbs! They are your secret weapon, you should only bring out the big guns when you need them. 95% of your massage should use an open palm technique.
Make sure your hands contour to your partner's body - this creates flow. Stiff hands or fingers create a pinchy massage - it's not pretty. The relaxation feeling comes when as much surface area as possible is touching your partner's body.
My hands are tired and sore after 5 minutes... how do the massage pro's last for 8 hours? Generally speaking, massage practitioners hardly use their hands at maximum strength. Usually their massage will consist of light and medium pressure for most of the massage with highlights using deep tissue techniques on knots and areas of tension. The best massages will have shades of relaxation and deep tissue.
